Consortium
COASTCHART is being developed by a multinational consortium of companies each representing key skill pools in the technical areas exploited during the development. The consortium is led by LogicaCMG who provide the integration skills to tie together contributions from a number of leading companies operating in the Earth Observation arena:
BOOST Technologies (France) have developed key ASAR image interpretation software.
BRGM (France) and Remote Sensing Applications Consultants (UK) provide key mapping and interpretative skills.
PCI Geomatics (Canada) provide the core geomatic, GIS and cartographic systems.
University of Plymouth (UK) provide hydrographic expertise in validating the output products.
University College London (UK) provide geomatic expertise and consultancy and also validate the positional accuracy of the products.
